Wash your hands like you've been chopping jalapeños and you need to put your contacts in.
Heard from a chef friend of mine.

A long time with hot water and soap. All the way up to the wrist, and between every finger, and, if you can, under the finger nails.

but it's hard for people, even me who knows better, to scrub for 2 full minutes.

but the more you scrub the better off you will be.

I use my extra special hand sanitizer (aloe vera gel mixed 30 - 70 with pure isoprophyl alcohol) and then wash for as long as I can. The a small squirt of hand lotion every day because this process really dries out the skin.

Warmer water helps soften and dissolve skin oils that help trap germs and impurities, though.

But yeah, use of soap and longer washing are the keys.

I've seen the pictures he takes with his fans. If it's a couple, he generally poses as if he's stealing the girlfriend.
