(118,778 posts)6. I had a grandmother who was that old. She was blind and crippled and deaf, but other than that
she had her faculties. Amazing people. In her late nineties she remembered a story about a old former slave who her family took care of during the day back in about 1902. She could mimic the old lady's accent perfectly 93 years later. She was riveted by that woman's stories.
