Wow.....my bank is going to drive-through only

"The health and well-being of our customers, our employees, and members of the community remain our highest priority. We have been closely monitoring the evolving circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and following the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Beginning Thursday, March 19th, our banking centers will begin providing all services via drive-thru lanes only."

They do have free coffee and popcorn, but the only time I've seen a crowd in there is the Amish on Fridays.

27 cases in Kentucky, one death.

do something to minimize their exposure

and hey, I just figured out this week because I'm not too smart that the pneumatic capsules probably have a little corona somethin somethin on them, so I throw on some (homemade) hand sanitizer on after using them...

I think a whole lot of changes are coming that will make us go "Wow", Bayard!! Hang tough!

I find out about it just when I need a signature guarantee to sell a mutual fund before I lose a few thousand $$ more. Anything other than drive-thru transactions are by appointment only, and I'm now told that the only person in the branch that can do it is currently on vacation and won't be back til late next week. Waiting for that, I could lose a few thousand $$ more.

I would happily drive to the downtown main office to get it, but that's a thirty-mile drive and my driving foot is still crippled and not up to a sixty-mile round trip on a freeway and in downtown traffic (maybe traffic wouldn't be so bad, but stoplights would be killer for me.)
