Day 4 of homeschool and we danced the Conga for about 10m around the kitchen island to the funky music on a customer service hold.

(102,357 posts)I, on the other hand, was happy to have "wet snow" rather than the weeks of icy refreeze of sidewalks and parking lots that we faced most of this winter.
Spring will get here. I'm not so sad to have a little "winter" remain. And nothing pleases me more than happy pups playing in the snow!

(26,289 posts)It's my normal reaction to stress so I'm not worried. I'm just really being careful to stay hydrated.

(26,289 posts)Seeing that the trees are coming into bud is somehow very calming. Especially one particular flowering bush that I thought had died, last year. It didn't! Lots of buds are forming. I lost part of a plum tree, last year, and worried I'd lose the rest, this year. Nope! Lots of buds.
My little grandniece is 4 and her mother is doing a stellar job of keeping her entertained and educated, all at the same time.

(23,741 posts)Also hosed down the patio as it was covered in pollen. Cat goes out there (It's screened) and brings the pollen in. I sneeze uncontrollably.

(16,334 posts)walked the dogs and noticed the azaleas and pear trees blooming among other things (like pollen). Saw a young fox in a yard who just looked at us as we passed.
I've done laundry and some cleaning, answered email, sent school stuff, surfed online and chatted with neighbors in a group text conversation. Fairly productive over all.

(34,447 posts)ate a cup of chicken soup I made a few days ago. I do think it boosts your immune system and staves off illness, but it's probably all of the onions, carrots, corn, celery & mushrooms I put in it. I sometimes add a bit of soy sauce & grate some fresh ginger into my bowl for a change. Plus, ginger is good for you. I make a big pot of it, freeze it in individual portions and it keeps quite a while.
Actually, nothing too much out of the normal, lol.

Today I did some planning, budgeting and goal setting.
Our local Democratic County meeting was cancelled this week--so we're going to have a Zoom meeting next Tuesday evening.
I'm going to start calling several people a day from my precinct--to start the conversation about November.

(14,113 posts)and got my car washed. Three places, never got within 10 feet of anyone. I sanitized my hands every time I touch something. This is usually the day my wife's women's group meets, so they are doing a walking meet, maintaining distance.

(115,836 posts)went online to see what fresh hell Trump had got us into, took a shower, got dressed, ate some lunch, did a load of laundry, got back on the computer, moped and fretted. That's about it so far.
