There are many leaves in the forest. Putting toilet paper in perspective.

In the 1980's I was in a remote and tiny Indian village in the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. Most of the inhabitants spoke limited Spanish with a Zacotec accent.

I had to go number two really bad, and I asked a man in the village about a bathroom. He took me behind the row of houses that comprised the village and pointed me to the immense forest. Desperate to relieve myself, I asked about toilet paper. He replied with laconic wisdom, "There are many leaves in the forest."
