I built him a special warm spot under my desk. If it is nap time and my legs are in the way to get to his spot, he just barrels his way between my large and heads for bed. Sometimes I need a little nip to get the message.

BYW, it is currently nap time. Not sure if this is his mid morning nap or his pre-noon nap.

Ever since he was a little kitten he wanted to snuggle into the crook of my left arm and sleep right against my side. Not the right arm, he will only snuggle on the left side.

If I'm in the recliner and all comfy and warm under my throw, and he wants to snooze, he will paw at the blanket until he uncovers my left arm and can get to his favorite snuggle spot. Oh, and please cover him too!

Now that he's a great big boy weighing about 14 pounds, he's heavy enough to put my arm to sleep. We've had to make some adjustments over the years to find what works, but I'm glad he's always there cuz he makes me happy watching him sleep.

Total jerk when he needs a nap. He is named Punch for a reason...when he bites, it packs a punch.

She is very unhappy that I have deviated so far from our usual routine. She looked so pissed earlier that I thought she was going to attack me. She has a household to manage, after all.

10. Ours are used to sleeping all day while we're at work.

We are both working from home. They hang around us until mid afternoon, get cranky and pester us for a couple of hours and then finally slink off somewhere quiet to sleep.

Our Maine Coon sat in the kitchen and cried at the top of his lungs the other morning because I haven't been eating breakfast on our regular schedule. He usually sits at my feet while I eat.

They are definitely creatures of habit.
