Back to work at the hardware store after 4 weeks off - but stylin'! (Original Post) NBachers Apr 2020 OP
Did you make this, my dear NBachers? It looks very functional and useful. CaliforniaPeggy Apr 2020 #1
No, but last night, I was trying to velcro a clear file folder across the bill of a baseball cap. NBachers Apr 2020 #2
Nice. I like the "halo" effect when it's raised. klook Apr 2020 #3

It turned out the "clear" folder cover wasn't transparent enough to use as a visor.

I actually found these for sale in an aisle of the hardware store. At this point, I've got 3 family members asking me to pick some up for them tomorrow.

Great design. I suppose something like this would be bad for business -- too bad:

thought it was flu-type symptoms, even though I'd had the flu shot.

I quarantined in place; the doctor prescribed some meds that where sent over. They helped.

The doctor decided I could return to work on April First. So today was my first day back after quarantining in place for several weeks.

Somehow, the company managed to stay open and survive without me. Since I turn 71 next week, they'll let me stay away, and keep my job open, if I think it's appropriate to stay away.

Good company to work for.

to work for.

Glad you're so much better to come back to work after 4 weeks.. and determine if you need to stay away longer.

I had read that hardware stores were essential businesses. I went to get water at a distilled machine in front of ACE yesterday and then went in to ask if they had any masks. they were all out. The workers had masks on and most of the customers.

I'm making my own for the next time I go to the store.. out of a tea towel and an ace bandage, self adhesive 6" wide. Definitely the tea towel. I just thought of it. Don't know if it will work yet.. but I think it will. I've been wearing gloves and have hand sanitizer at the ready too.. for the bus.

Take Good Care, Bachers! Oh.. and Happy Birthday next week

You are really rocking that look.

And if it keeps you safe on top of that, win win!

Definitely do the 'stay safe' part.
