(31,404 posts)at the Pantages. Their tickets were for March 15th and the show was cancelled for coronavirus on March 13th.
I think the Pantages was going to offer tickets for a fall performance, but I wonder if that will even happen.
Totally cool they did this for this little girl.

(17,329 posts)It was after Lin had left. And with all the hype, I thought to myself how can it possibly live up to the praise it has gotten.
Suffice it to say, I was absolutely blown away. It was spectacular, sure hope your nephew and wife get to see it this fall. It will be a highlight they will reminisce about for a lifetime.

(7,531 posts)I would swear at least one of them would experience lag in hearing the track or coming in at different rates. Perhaps this is a sign technology is improving - I heard an excerpt of this on NPR and it sounded like an unmixed studio recording.

(9,177 posts)the actual singing had to be prerecorded and edited together. There is just too much latency to live synch a performance, even with the best internet connections.
But, it's OK if they didn't tell her it wasn't live. You don't tell kids about Santa either.
