Some have stopped charging delivery fees, but unfortunately not all.

(23,723 posts)3. Spoiler Alert! For those like me, who do not know what the significance of 4-20 is........
I looked it up......
April 20th (4/20), considered as an occasion for smoking or celebrating the smoking of marijuana.
"thousands of marijuana smokers converged on Hippie Hill for the annual 420 celebration"
"thousands of marijuana smokers converged on Hippie Hill for the annual 420 celebration"
From that era, but never a smoker. Enjoy!

(33,177 posts)4. It goes far deeper than that...
The way back lore on 420:
"In 1971, five teenage boys at San Rafael High School created a code, 420, for the time to meet after school, get high and search for a plot of illegal marijuana planted by a member of the Coast Guard, whose map to the grow and permission to harvest it had found its way to them."
The reeference (sic) phrase has since made it's way into popular culture appearing in movies, television, and other media. Several states large enough to have a 420 mile marker on their roads have had to replace them with 419.9 due to the expense of replacing the signs after they were regularly stolen.
To be honest, I personally never was part of the doobie group. However, in present circumstances... I'm all for anything keeping people happy and at home.
