out into my library, into the dining room, and up on my table. I went into the den and opened up the porch door and herded him out the door.

I get young Bluebirds in my wood stove every year after heating season is over. My chimney top looks like an empty tree stump to them and they get curious and fall in, poor things. They're so dirty when I rescue them - they must sit and preen for a few days to get the dust off.
