Goldens can get so jealous. I used to take my brother's Golden to the doggie park and he would never come when I called him until I inadvertently figured out a little trick.
I would start petting another dog and fawning all over it until he would stop dead in his tracks and rush over to nudge my hand away from the other dog. Only then was I able to get him back on the leash. It was so cute and funny!
