An adult moose is something that I never wish to encounter while hiking/camping, though.
They can get vicious and eff you up in a hurry!

(4,568 posts)8. I would stay clear of adult bull moose in the fall but otherwise
they, plus females with or without kids are very docile, at least where I live (as long as you don't try to get close). Even then, they will almost always move a comfortable distance away.
