I didn't know this was a thing, Star Wars duel on Fencing World Championships.

Just a note:

Noticed a mistake though.. a light saber is normally one color, as is the staff. As I understood it, that a blue crystal light saber was for a padawan while green is for a Jedi Knight, this guy has a blue and Green staff.. (Maybe welded two together? Or he is confused?)

Ahsoka Tano had a White crystal (which she made after defeating a Sith and washing the color from the crystal to white) since she is no longer a Jedi .--(Star Wars: Rebels/Star Wars: Clone Wars)

Sith lords and inquisitors had red crystal light sabers..since blood is involved in their Anger, hate. the colors of the dark side of the force.

Sabine Wren (Mandalorian/ Star Wars: Rebels-Animated series) held the dark saber from Mand'alor.

Master Mace Windu
The only Jedi who ever owned a purple crystal light saber. Not sure of the explanation other than Samuel L. Jackson asked for a purple light saber to stand out in the crowd and George Lucas approved it.

I'm sure the real fencers are appalled. Bayard May 2020 #1
The bow staff is a pretty powerful weapon... yuiyoshida May 2020 #2

I took Kendo when I was younger. I would take a Katana over a foil any day of the week. yuiyoshida May 2020 #4

You train for many years to get to this level of fencing competition.

Still not a foil or sabre.

Someone on DU is an active fencer. Can't remember who. His avatar has a competition pic.
