(4,522 posts)I am sure someone will tell me I had bad ones. First time was in a 5* French restaurant in New Orleans. The 2nd time was in Tulsa's best seafood restaurant. Just like Haggis, there will NOT be a third attempt.

(63,221 posts)escargot, not so much. I have had them, and it wasn't the taste that was so bad, but I have an issue with textures, and they kind of grossed me out.

(791 posts)It was meh but to be fair they were store bought frozen ones that had the garlic butter already in the shells.
Maybe they would be better using entirely fresh ingredients, the ones in your pic look alright. I'd try one of them too. My wife is French and they serve it on Christmas at the dinner for those who want it, which only 2 people like them anyway.
There is a nice looking bolognese version they do in the south of France which looks ok too but I don't think I need more than a couple.
