I'm going to post a link to this for the photographers. I think "irony" would make a great theme for a contest.
This is fabulous, a once in a lifetime catch IMO

The gator may have swallowed it, too. I know it's hard to feel sympathy for an alligator, but that shoe will not sit well in its digestive system.
