(57,073 posts)I knew a lady like this in OH some years ago. No human furniture, except for 1 bed an elderly dog slept on. All doggie beds & crates fot fosters. 👍

Qualifying as a non-profit is a lot of work and time. The rewards can be substantial, or at least pay the bills. I briefly considered it at one time, but ... well time marches on.

(1,948 posts)I saw a longer video sometime back, about how he had been severely depressed and taking care of a friend's chihuahua saved him. I can't find that video now, but here's a link to more info. Seems like a really great guy. He takes in lots of problem or abused chis.
