19. There was a computer game in this vein, a number of years ago.

It was called TIM (The Incredible Machine), in which you are given a tool kit for each successive problem, and must set everything up in such a way that your configuration accomplishes the goal.

And, it WAS "incredible!" Absolutely addictive. A friend of mine, who has a degree in physics, learned UNIX systems administration in an incredibly short time and is certainly the best technical mind I've ever encountered was transfixed by it, as was his 8-year old daughter. I was, too, creating quite a cross section there.

If it sounds like something you might enjoy, you definitely would. I can't recommend it highly enough, if it can still be found.
