Lowell George 4/13/1945 - 6/29/1979

This is one of those days that makes me sad and pissed off at the same time, as Lowell was brilliantly talented and ended up dying of an overdose. That said, he was a brilliant slide guitarist and very good singer.

They still rock (saw them a couple summers ago), but Lowell was really something else. Terrible loss. RIP brother.
