On an idle whim, I looked up the top 10 Saturday songs

Here's one list my search produced:

1. The Heart Of A Saturday Night - Tom Waits

2. One More Saturday Night - The Grateful Dead

3. Saturday - Built To Spill

4. Saturday Nite - Earth, Wind & Fire

5. Saturday In The Park - Chicago

6. Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting - Elton John

7. Saturday Night - Bay City Rollers

8. Another Saturday Night - Cat Stevens

9. Saturday Sun - Nick Drake

10. On Saturday Afternoons In 1963 - Rickie Lee Jones

My question: Where did they screw up? What should have been on the list that wasn't?

For my money, the most egregious omission was Sam Cooke's 'Another Saturday Night':

What else deserves inclusion?

Thanks for that contribution, GreatCaesarsGhost. Even though it's set in New Orleans, it reminds me of when I was a little kid in Chicago when the entire extended family would go to a fish house on the lake and be served heaping platters of fresh fried Perch.

I was born on the South side, before we moved to the suburb of Hometown.

My grandparents lived around the block from the first Mayor Daley in Bridgeport. From their stoop you could see the lights flash at Commiskey when the Sox scored.
