Normal hot for SoCal high desert, not the hot hot that others are getting with the heat wave.

Still, never been a fan of COLD showers. Brrrr! BTDT.

Just finished the workweek during a torrid heatwave and got home a midnight last night. I was diggin' surfing the net wand watching DVD's in air conditioned comfort so much I went to bed at like quarter to six AM. Got up just a few minutes before 2 PM today. Nothing to do but more of the same: It's a 102F in the shade..................

She's a keeper. 25 years married and together since '84. I'm not complaining.

It's hard not to get the idea now that you're just rubbing it in for those of us who are counting our exes.

But seriously, you know that we are happy for you--and, apparently, you are both 'keepers.' Our only question, knowing you, is "What the hell is she thinking?!1!!

It's a "wipe me out" job, but she loves it. She teaches karate at night but that's actually relaxing compared to teaching kindergarten.

James Bond, Walker, Texas Ranger and the others just dropped a few notches in my estimation. Can you imagine them trying to teach a kindergarten class?

It's fiction and it's Arnie. Ask your wife how real THAT is.

Hey, bro, I just heard about Andy Grifith on the news. Talk about a bummer!

I'm one of those bitchy "It's so cold! I want to get under the covers! I'm ready to hibernate!" people that the heat sufferers want to strangle about now. But it's cold and I'm sleepy. So there.

Thanks.

But I did take two great naps. You know you had a good nap when you can't find your glasses ANYWHERE afterward.

My bedroom's X-BOX is calling to me. It is a well known fact that you can not save the galaxy on an empty stomach so I'm grabbing something to eat first. After that, I have to decide, which galaxy savior to go with, Master Chief or Sheppard.
