(15,185 posts)God, Batman and Robin wins that. George Clooney joked that he "singlehandidly killed the franchise". I think George put the nail in the coffin (though Arnold, Chris ? as Robin, and Uma Thurman as Poisin Ivy all helped). Schumacher was the one responsible for destroying it (though I've enjoyed the resurrection by Chris Nolan).

Second, he ruined his own career. Look it up. He was considered a difficult actor. Very arrogant. But, yes, he is a good actor which is why they allow him to star in two rate movies.
It's sad, really, to watch.
