Kim was actually a quasi friend of Paris Hilton so when everyone was going crazy over Paris Hilton, from time-to-time you'd see Paris and Kim out partying somewhere.

During Paris waning years, there was a sex tape released of Kim Kardashian with some wannabe R&B singer. The tape was released by the same group that released sex tapes of Pam Anderson and Paris Hilton. Although it was never named who leaked the sex tapes it wouldn't be a shock if it was Kim and her mother than leaked the tape since it seems sex tapes are a good way to help promote celebutantes who want to be famous.

BTW Robert Kardashian was famous for being one of OJ Simpson's lawyers. I also believe that one of Bruce Jenner's sons was on one of those Laguana Beach type reality shows they had on MTV.
