Movie Check-in: Amazing Spiderman.

Now, I'm no Spiderman fan. Never read the comics. Saw only one of the earlier Spiderman movies, and maybe not the whole thing. Plus, I'm not much of an action adventure fan, although I've liked a few action adventures.

Went to ssee The Amazing Spiderman. I must say that I thought it was a pretty fantastic movie. The actor who plays Spiderman was actually a little sexy, unlike Toby Maguire. Spiderman SHOULD be a little sexy, shouldn't he? I mean, what with that tight outfit and all. The action moved, the plot moved along, the graphics were impressive. The 3D made the height sequences, of which there were many, actually scary (if you're scared of heights, like I am). The meanie was very scary.

Good movie. Which is good, since it cost $12!

I liked it. They're definitely going for the grittiness of the Dark Knight, but still staying away from trying to be realistic, so it still makes for a fun movie.

I'm sure the guys like her. She's really beautiful, and has acting skills and personality plus.

All 'round, a great movie. I'm not into CG, as a rule, but this was some of the best CG I've ever seen. I'm scared of heights and actually covered my eyes a couple of times because of the height scenes.

I laughed, I cried, I got scared. Martin Sheen and Sally Field were terrific. Dennis Leary is always great. Expensive for the Imax 3D, but for once, worth it.

We discussed it a couple of weeks ago in the Lounge. Maybe someone with star power can do a search for us.

Garfield is very talented. Look forward to seeing if his acting ability goes beyond the nerd/awkward,sexy thing.

And, I think the Lounge is mostly composed of older gents who haven't discovered Emma Stone yet. Lucky thing for Emma Stone.

I'm not sure why we're already doing Spiderman, but we did, and it's good.
