Jen and I are sick this weekend

Her with a bladder infection and me with a sinus infection. So we haven't been much fun this weekend with each other. I think we both kind of have the blues because we aren't feeling well.

I was cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry earlier. She said she felt like a bad wife because she doesn't do a whole lot of house cleaning. I asked her if she loved me and she said yes. I said that made her a good wife. I'm easy.

I feel kind of needy today. Is it normal for an adult to feel needy every once in a while?

Of course it's normal. It's healthy to reach out when you feel bad. nolabear Jul 2012 #4

that kid comes along. Then you can flush feeling "needy" down the drain.

You'll be so busy DEALING with REAL needy, that you won't have time to
think about yourself much beyond basic life support!

But the real gem there in your post --- you told her that she was a good wife because she loves you. Oh, & the cleaning.

You're good, & not a doubt in my mind that Jen knows that!

Hope you both feel better soon.

And I'm glad you reach out here. So sorry you're sick. It'll get better, but I know how it can suck.
