My friends and I worked for a few months in Cali to get the money and drive across the country to Madison Square, where Zep played a whole week of gigs. We were there on the first night and the last. Freakin amazing. Then we saw em again in LA at the (erstwhile) Forum. The famous 77 tour.

And Plant really was a golden God back then. Age has not been kind to him, but he's far more humble and substantial now. Makes for a better artist, I think!

The concert was suppose to be on the 23rd but there was such a massive thunderstorm right over Hershey that they postponed until Sunday afternoon.
