a friend of mine

has pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver, and points beyond. She and her husband are soul mates. They are so awesome together. It is obvious that she is not going to survive...I can't go see her because the chemotherapy has knocked out her immune system.

I don't know how much she knows, though I'm sure she knows, and who the hell wants to have that conversation anyway.

She is/was the owner of the bar I frequented, she was always funny, happy and plump like me...and now she's skin and bones. I'm gutted, just gutted.
