Genghis Kahn really got around. Seriously.

DNA samples from 2,000 men from all over Asia showed that 8% of them had a common ancestor dating from about the time of Genghis Kahn. And the biggest cluster is in Mongolia. Given Kahn's reputation, and his longevity -- he lived into his sixties, twice the average life expectancy of the time -- he is the most likely suspect. Today, about 32 million people carry his DNA.

Thus endeth tonight's history lesson, courtesy of "Ancients Behaving Badly" on H2.
