My own personal rainbow...

Took this about 30 minutes ago. I live maybe 150 yards from the edge of the water and the end of this rainbow couldn't have been 50 yards beyond that. I took about 150 pictures of it from its left edge to where you could see it through the pine trees. I'm going to go out on my boat in the morning and look for the pot o' gold with my fish finder. The water is about 8' deep there so this shouldn't be hard at all! (Note the companion rainbow just to the right of the tree in the left of the frame. I'll look there too.)

In order to see a rainbow, one has to be at a 42 degree angle in relation to the Sun's location in order to see a rainbow in the first place. Besides, if it's meant for me, it'll be there in the morning; I'll just look for the spot on the water being circled by the Unicorns and butterflies.

Besides besides, I've had more than a couple teaglasses of wine (several?) and wouldn't ask my wife to get in the boat with me at the moment. I would if she'd agree to take on the Captain's role, but she won't.

I've decided the 42 degree thing is where Douglass Adams was coming from in his Hitchhiker series.
