Bedroom until I was 9yo. We lived w/ my grandparents
and since my brother was 7 yrs older than me, he got
the spare room.

Of course, maybe that's why my parents had a standing Fri
night date and would farm me out to my Aunt.

That's why I put a lock on my bedroom door after we had kids.

and don't say I did!

But one time, I was in the hallway outside their bedroom door when my dad opened it.......he was naked.

I do not remember what happened next.

I think he shut the door, fast!

Little kid didn't know what the noise was...

and told me "That's where you were conceived."

that's sort of....creepy.

Did you ever take a look at any spots on it and tally up how many siblings you might have had?

I don't think my parents liked each other well enough to "do it".

but I sure learned my lesson about watching random video tapes found while digging through closets when nobody was home.


(FWIW, that was dad and step-mom)(so only half debilitating).

The consensus among the crew was that he wanted the tape to be found and watched (it was sitting out in the open).

I stand by that.

Decades after the fact, I can still make her creep out by mentioning it.

Couldn't even imagine them "doing it".

underwear tossed aside.

I think that is probably the beginning of my borderline personality disorder. The single-most disturbing image this mind has ever had to cope with.

they never did it. That would be dirty.

That was traumatic enough.

Supposed to make quite the impression on a young psyche. Of course Freud had sex on the brain.

That's the way I'd like to imagine it.

but our son came close once, I added another layer of security on our bedroom door after that....kid doesn't need to scar his eyes.
