You have no idea what was really done to the vehicle to repair it, especially if it was self-insured though a leasing, fleet rental or government agency. Some of the electronics or safety equipment might not work.

With cars trying to be sold from a dealership, they often use mules to sell the cars, that remove the dealership from the early transaction & initial inspection process. The person you meet will not be the actual title holder. When that happens, you know you are buying a pile of shit that no auto-selling business wants to be associated with. You'd need to ask if the seller possesses the title. If not, who does and when will you meet them. It might also be a way to set up the seller to rob them, by asking for a deposit or payment that cannot be traced. The title might be bogus. That phone could also be a burner phone.
