so things I wanted to appear would--and if I didn't they wouldn't. PITA.

I've seen this posted about how to 'get rid of Timeline' but can't verify whether it will work.

Use Google Chrome. Go to Tools, then Extensions, then click the bottom link - more extensions. Then type TIMELINE REMOVE. A post on the right will ask REMOVE TIMELINE? Click it, then REFRESH FACEBOOK, and you should have your wall back.

I fucking hate it. Didn't think I COULD hate FB more that I already did but oh yes it sucks even more now.

I should probably delete it anyway now that an asshole spammed the photo all over DU to get their juvenile revenge for whatever imagined slight I must have committed against them or one of their little friends.

I use it minimally, but have to be on it some bec. many of my friends use it almost exclusively. And I used to find it useful at least occasionally to catch up on what's going on with them.

But I find the timeline layout confusing, and now have trouble finding what I want even on my own wall, let alone anyone else's.

To me it seems mainly like a device designed to encourage users to add more intelligible info about their pre-facebook pasts (presumably so we can be more thoroughly exploited and manipulated).

But I'm open to hearing any advantages to the new layout . . .
