Mine is usually mid summer, and I strongly suspect its related to all of those millions of acres of corn, with its fine, wind-born pollen. My theory is corn pollen count is way down because of the extreme drought

Of course, I have NO scientific basis for this, just a hunch. Could be all wet.

It's been real dry here, and I haven't been bothered much by mold except for when it rains.

Whatever it is, it's never fun.

has been from hell for me. By that, I mean worse than usual.

I've never had actual breathing problems, but this year I did, to the point of feeling like I know how scary it is for asthma sufferers. Wheezing and chest pain.

That all started in May. It calmed down a bit in late June to July, and now it's Ragweed, which usually strikes each year but this year it's worse.

My eyes stream tears almost all day long.

Open windows let pollen into the house

I do nasal rinsing, which helps, but geez, yeah. I can't wait for the first hard frost around here.
