Downey Jr cracks me up plus the whole cast of stars are pretty damn funny.

We went to see it as a family on the eve of my mom's college roommate's funeral. I was so sad and down. I never thought that I would laugh again. I remember at the end when he shoo's the audience away and says go home. I laughed and I laughed. It was very cathartic.

I recently tried re-watching it. Gave up after about 15 minutes because it was so dated, so not very funny that it was tragic.

A dark comedy/drama in the genre of Fargo but way better IMO. Laughed out loud several times.

The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming was funny and, I hope, will be again. At the moment, it just breaks my heart.

And on a gentler note, My Favorite Year is a small perfect gem.

I dated this due to the fact I have a difficult decision picking favorites, especially where movies and music is the topic.

But, any movie by Mel Brooks or Monty Python. I will go with "Young Frankenstein" and "Monty Python's The Life of Brian."

Also, "The Producers" by Brooks and others was a howl.

Some of the funniness wears off on movies I've seen multiple times - Galaxy Quest (still love) comes to mind.
