We have a reservoir near here that has a mile long bridge that is only a few feet off the surface. I don’t even like to drive on that.

the decking (no vehicles allowed) that crossed the Arkansas River in Colorado known as The Royal George Bridge, built in 1929. One could look down between those slats of wood. There was a parking area, but I felt little amusement taking on this challenge. Back then, it was the highest bridge in the world. Let's just say the place around and beneath the span has evolved since then. Some may recall when one of the life-size animated T-Rex, one of 16 "pre-historic" creatures in The Dinosaur Experience at the park burned to a crisp in 2018.

Hah, now I feel pre-historic. Most of these adventurous experiences existed until years later and into the present.

And no, I'd not drive across the bridged mentioned above.

in Louisiana, Missouri that would make my butt cheeks tighten up everytime I met another semi going the opposite direction. It was not unusual our driver side mirrors tapped each other because the bridge was so narrow.

I can't imagine driving across the bridge in the opening post.
