My mom's hometown. Very small, blink and you miss it. Up until my 30s, my grandma's farm was still in the family. Finally got sold.

She was 101 years old.

It's a small town. No one on my mom's side of the family ever talked about her. She's got a plaque in the town square, and her home is on the national register, but other than that, I've never heard of anything. To be fair though, we were rarely in town. When we visited, it was either to go to Grandma's farm which was a few miles outside of town or the cemetery on the East side of town.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to fix for dinner. Having a bit of a stupid hour. I've been doing dinner for 59 years. Not every night but most night . Tonight I'm drifting. Probably warming up boxed lasagna with a salad. Husband may not like it but he doesn't help so I don't care.
I just don't care. I'll be ok in a few.
