I never liked them too much as they would really stick to my teeth. But good example!

OT, but I like your avatar. Rugby kicks ass!

And how could I have forgotten about polka dots? Geesh... That image is a still from "Pretty Woman," right?

Okay, this is kind of sad. I couldn't even FIND any ASCII porn. Lots of hits to actual porn, but no hits to the dot matrix stuff. An entire era has faded.

It had a feature called "hold and modify", which basically meant that adjacent pixels could share two of the three RGB values and switch the third. That was the best damn porn available in the mid 80's. It also had multiple windowing environments so you could hide a picture behind another windowing session and just pull it down to reveal the image. I freaked a few guys out with that.
The Amiga was also the first true multi-tasking home computer (although the Atari ST was pretty fucking close).

It's not old, and this would have been a better response to CreekDog's thread but since that's locked, you'll have to indulge me.

Man, that site is addictive! It's like painting!

the idea of splitting those dots into smaller and smaller dots does have a fractally taste, but since it ends after the dots get to a certain size (instead of going on forever), it doesn't quite qualify.

Come back next week when we'll learn how to use goats to arrange a No Doubt reunion tour!
