(47,675 posts)Okay, this is kind of sad. I couldn't even FIND any ASCII porn. Lots of hits to actual porn, but no hits to the dot matrix stuff. An entire era has faded.

(47,675 posts)It had a feature called "hold and modify", which basically meant that adjacent pixels could share two of the three RGB values and switch the third. That was the best damn porn available in the mid 80's. It also had multiple windowing environments so you could hide a picture behind another windowing session and just pull it down to reveal the image. I freaked a few guys out with that.
The Amiga was also the first true multi-tasking home computer (although the Atari ST was pretty fucking close).

(25,921 posts)the idea of splitting those dots into smaller and smaller dots does have a fractally taste, but since it ends after the dots get to a certain size (instead of going on forever), it doesn't quite qualify.
