For me it's Morgan Freeman and Lucy Liu.

Mom resembled Lee Remick, but was far more intellectual.

To MiddleFingerMomDad's credit, although he was a homophobe and a bigot, he didn't pass that
along to his kids. I didn't realize those things about him until I was well into my adult years. He
got worse as he got older and, though he died at age 80 in 2001, he almost certainly would have
felt a strong kinship with the Tea Party had he lived.
.
I read him the riot act one day after he used the word "fairies" a couple of times. He actually
whined that he couldn't help it as it was how he was raised. I told him it was time that he finally
grew up. MiddleFingerMomMom could barely conceal her grinning.
.
She, OTOH, grew cooler and cooler as she aged. Coming from a moderately conservative smalltown
Midwestern 60's housewife background, she became more and more liberal as she got beyond her 50's.
.
She was VERY angry and disgusted by the Right's disrespect and disregard and lack of compassion
for people in general, but especially for those in need.
.
MFMMom also died in 2001, the day after 9/11. By the time of their deaths, I had "disowned" my
father completely and had become good friends with my mom.
