Hot and humid, heavy lifting, long hours during crush seasons, WONDERFUL-smelling and
satisfying work for a great boss.
.
.
When it came time to take the van and deliver many hundreds of potted hyacinths, I would
do everything I could (including STEALING the keys) to make that delivery.
.
.
Maybe it was just me, but by the time I got to the customer, I was singing and laughing
and waving to strangers driving/walking nearby. Not impaired, but blissful... even ecstatic.

No other flowers did this (and what were -- and may STILL be -- called Oriental lilies were
by far my favorite-smelling flowers).
.
.
There was just something about that high a concentration of hyacinth pheromones -- a
wonderful high without any negative side-effects.

The miniatures on mounts don't really show that well since they're either piled in a box, hanging in another box or in a box in the front seat.
