Why I don't think Mila Kunis should take the role for 50 Shades of Grey.

I haven't read it, but this is the lounge and one never allows the little things get in the way of an opinion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the protagonist some innocent-looking gal who you would never imagine doing half of the things dreamed up in that pre-pubescent, premature ejaculatory, porn wannabe story?

Well, guess what. Mila Kunis just doesn't fit the type. She looks too worldly wise to play the role of an ingenue.

That's just my thoughts.

and a bunch of B-listers and has-beens for the supporting cast. My guess is one person who will be cast is Jon Voight - he seems to be popping up in alot of these subpar movies. I could see him playing one of the two fathers (Ana or Christian's) in the movie.

This movie REEKS of 'Last Tango in Paris' and any woman cast for Ana will probably see her career halted pretty quickly after the movie(s) are done (I'm assuming they will do all 3 movies). I think the rumors about 'who will the cast' are just that. I doubt someone like Ryan Gosling, who has been nominated a few times for the Oscars, would want to stoop to the level of 'BDSM for the Twilight crowd' movie. I've also read where Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame was someone they could see playing Ana. Watson is working very hard to break out of her Harry Potter Hermoine character, a role she has played for almost a decade. Last thing she wants to be stucking doing is another serial movie role.

But to me the person who best fits Ana would have been Anne Hathaway circa 'THe Princess Diaries'. Anne perfected the socially awkward young woman to perfection in that role and even with her 'Devil Wears Prada' role. Unfortunately Hathaway is too old for the part and too well established and like Gosling, another former Oscar Nominee not willing to risk her career on a bad book.

Mainly doing a string of well done indie movies where she plays very un-hermoine like characters. 50SOG would be a step backwards for Emma.

amongst the Atlas Shrugged actors? If not one of them, they might have other D- list people dying for the job.

I can't imagine this being that great of a movie. The book being so poorly written, they will have to get a magician of a screenwriter.

I remember for years they talked about who would star as Tagny Daggart when the movie was made. Some of the actresses they said were signed to star included Angelina Joile and Charlize Theron; even Brad Pitt with a star role in the movie. Thing is this - it was all rumors and I doubt any of those actors even remotely considered doing the movie but the rumors made the movie 'seem' important.

I see alot of that happening with 50SoG with rumors of big names attached to the movie but in the end it'll be nobodies and b-listers cast in the part.

I would love to see her in this movie but it will probably be an unknown who wants to break in. They will have to do some weird shit so... I mean the movies may shit but I'm not saying I wouldn't watch.
