This morning, football

In the rain and the mud and my lineman son putting the big hits on the opposing team. When I say big, I mean BIG. He's 5'10+ and about 215. Oh and he's 13. . .

Tonight, he's onstage dancing ballet, hiphop, tap, jazz, modern. Lifting girls and being graceful while powerful. Magnetic smile and stage presence.

He's an amazing kid. I was telling him how some other parents who had seen both today - the football and the dancing- we're commenting on how "different" it was to see. Boy doing both like that. My son, laughed and said, well, today during the game there was a kid who fell in front of me so I did a (insert name of some ballet leap here. I dunno all those terms!) to jump over him. It was pretty sweet.

Yup. Pretty sweet.

Along with great moves on the field and on the dance floor. That's tremendous. Kudos to you both!
