(118,677 posts)They had complicated flavours. I thought why not double that and mix two teas together. Also someone suggested to me that constant comment tea was the greatest and I looked it up. It was orange and spices. They don't sell it in canada. I mixed Mandarine/orange tea and double spice chai together together and it was wonderful. Tonight I tried the licorice with the lemon and it is even better. A delight. I chose those two because i found that in a lemon ginger tea I had that licorice was in the ingredients and made for a nice accent. So I am being inspired to mix flavours that I already know go together. I also add a tiny bit of stevia because I like sweet things.

(3,818 posts)I like the Gold Leaf Ice Tea Brand but it's expensive so I came up with my own recipe which is pretty good: Boil four cups of water then add three bags Orange Pekoe Tea and one bag of Green Tea. Steep for ten minutes, remove tea bags and add four cups of cold water.
After I chill it I drink it with lemon or lime juice and stevia. Mixing different types of tea bags for different flavors is a great idea.

(118,677 posts)which made for very weak herbal tea. So I started using two of one kind tea bags so there would be enough flavour. That progressed to me liking the complex flavours and upping the anti so to speak.

(36,827 posts)I visited a Longjing tea plantation. It reminded me a lot of Napa Valley. The Chinese don't fuck around when it comes to tea. The stuff I got was the best grade they make, and is considered by many to be the best tea in the world. They don't export it.
I haven't been this excited since I scored my first lid of Thai Stick.
