Craig's List sucks
I am supposed to go check out a bike found via Craig's List. I emailed the buyer a bit and set up a time for tomorrow. Then later I get another email addressed to me and another buyer, asking both of us to come at the same time since we "both are really interested."
WTF. 
I suppose if I am really interested I will have to be 20 minutes early and try to scoop the other dude.
Sometimes CL is a major pain in the ass. If I have something to sell off, and it's easily packable, I'll use ebay even though I generally loathe ebay these days just so I don't have to deal with CL buyers.

Chances are the other buyer won't even show.
Good luck and I hear ya about ebay. Neither of those two sites are operating very well an online marketplace resource.
One time I had arranged to look at an affordable apartment in an expensive city, and the manager had scheduled someone else to look at it at the same time! The "someone else" turned out to be someone just out of high school and his mother. The first thing the mother said was, "We'll take it!" Then she turned to me and said, "Ha ha, beat you to it!"
