I do not understand why the groom and bridemaids put up with such crap.
I would feel the need to hit the bride myself.
They are just getting married, not becoming a queen.

(1,846 posts)that more grooms don't just get out while they have a chance. The few episodes I've watched, the women are spoiled, entitled, ungrateful brats. I always think this show should be followed by "Divorce Court".

(18,705 posts)Brats, grown brats.
I have to wonder how long the marriage does last.

(20,277 posts)truly horrible, wretched ... um...bees.
The way they treat the groom, their moms, bridemaids is unbelievable. I stopped watching after 3 episodes. If I want to see a bride type show, I like the program with David Tutera.

(28,941 posts)The Ladies of the Hive, including the Queen, are hard working and dedicated to the common good. Well yes, they do kick out the drones at the end of summer.
I'm doomed!

(21,020 posts)is that the bridezillas justify their bad behavior by ranting about how "It's MY DAY!!!" as if the groom shouldn't even have a say in any of it.
Granted, some of the grooms probably don't want to deal with a lot of it anyway, but still, the attitude from the bridezillas makes me think that because it's "their day", the groom is like an afterthought.
Not even a human being...someone who's going to stand beside her and say some words, and he could be just about any breathing man on the face of the earth for all she cares.
And I wonder, once the big party is over and real life sets in, how do these bridezillas deal with the downfall of the damned fairytale?
Fuck the marriage...it was really about the wedding...
that's what their attitude all says to me.

(14,819 posts)I've never got the whole "bride's day" when it's taken to the exclusion of the groom.
I also think that there's good reason behind the saying "the bigger the wedding the smaller the marriage".

(55,476 posts)I can always tell the folks who were raised by parents who indulged them in everything. The parents thought they were doing the right thing, but they weren't, and now they have spoiled rotten toddler-women in adult bodies running around.
