I went to one a few years ago the the local JayCees did as a fundraiser and I hauled off and clocked a guy that grabbed me when I was walking through. Can't help it--I just reacted. It really IS a bad idea to be anyplace near somebody in one of those places when they get startled, and it is an even worse idea to physically grab anybody, but it sure doesn't excuse me slugging him.

I apologized to him cause he was just some community guy out there volunteering and I felt kinda bad. He was nice about it at least. I realized then and there that maybe I needed not to be going to those things any more.
