Dressed as Peter Pan at a party, I was mortified when my animated miming during a game of 'Charades' thoroughly split my green tights.

I still have flashbacks...the horror...the horror...

We weren't invited to one this year, but we wouldn't be able to go anyway. My physical condition sort of restricts the nature of a party I can attend. Besides, I like handing out treats and seeing all the costumes. Most are typical, but every once in a while there's a duzy.

probably a 12-13 hour day, then I will go home to clean the barn and feed horses in the dark, and then I will collapse in complete exhaustion, happy to be isolated. No jack-o-lanterns, no nothing, and given my location, no fear of trick-or-treaters.

I'll fall asleep at about 8:30, and my alarm will go off, again, at 4:30 the next morning.

I took a pic of them putting up some decorations a couple of weeks ago.

This was the first morning in months I haven't seen them out in the backyard putzing around (gardening).
