(4,187 posts)but I work with kids all day long....
so tonight I have a....
"No candy. Have a good night." sign on my doorbell.
After work, I am a no-kid zone.

(47,675 posts)It was quite popular. My wife's school is a peanut-free center. I didn't realize how prevalent it was.

(47,675 posts)There's a clear sign on the door and they parents are inundated with messages in weekly updates ("bring something for the party BUT NOTHING INVOLVING PEANUTS" type stuff). Still, some never read a damn word of those weekly notes. It frustrates the hell out of my wife. And ironically, it's the parents who drop their kids off just to get them out of their hair so they can go shopping all day that are the worst offenders.
