I'm a bit obsessive (NO, REALLY!1) and need to have black shoes and brown. And I don't like to give up shorts totally for the winter, so one option is SOCCER SOCKS. So the black or blue are not a problem, but I have done a fairly obsessive search for BROWN, both in local outlets and on the web, and there are NO brown. The closest have been hiking type or skiing, but these seem too heavyweight.
The soccer things are really PRIMARY colors, even with stripes and other designs. http://www.amazon.com/Puma-Mens-Socks-Yellow-Large/dp/B004TRNJD0/ref=sr_1_15_m?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1351998812&sr=1-15&keywords=soccer+socks+men

... that a penalty kick caused them to soil themselves... thus making the
athletic supporter/Depends personal injury/embarrassment combo kinda
pointless.

(70,708 posts)The hitch now is that they have a 12-pairs minimum on most of their stuff. There is also a color "Vegas Gold" that looks like it might be tan. So West Chester is west of Philadelphia, eh.

(6,011 posts)I'm not sure how thick soccer socks are, but I think you'll find various types of long socks under these descriptions, from different sources.
