Skylanders: Giants

Last year Activision hit the jackpot with the "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures" videogame.
People bought hundreds, even thousands of $$$ of the toys that unlock characters and scenarios.

(I confess to having an all-dragon team, and the four adventure sets.)

Now Activision is doing it again, this is the back cover of a Wal-Mart flyer I got with the paper.

Problem is, it's almost like Magic cards or Warhammer figurines. A very expensive habit, potentially, and hard as fuck-all to quit once you start.

I hope you're enjoying yours. I saw a YouTube video review from Classic Game Room for the new game, and it looks like it's more polished and all-ages than the first one, with much higher difficulty if you want a challenge. Let us know what you think if you choose to pick it up!
