love Turkish tea. the coffee? not so much - too reminiscent of old style cowboy coffee, only in smaller portions and a finer grind - but still super strong and gritty

2. In Jordan, people seemed evenly divided between coffee and tea.

They did not call it Turkish coffee, but insisted it was Arabic Coffee. Qaw-wah Arabia, as opposed to qaw-wah Amerikia, which was also available.

Where I went in Turkey the contrast was most often over the Greek versions of things. All yummy though!
