The mom can't pick them up to move them. I hope they put them back where she was in the first place to come back and feed or took them to a wildlife rehabber.

It's hard for me to be too critical of them, however, because I've done stupid things, myself, though I had the best intentions.

The dumb part was leaving the trash bags open. It was best to get her out of there. Otherwise she would just bury the kits in fur and leave them until night (like they all do) and the kits could end up going out with the trash. Rabbits are far more intelligent than most people give them credit for.

I had avoided the "let's pillar HH" thread in Meta but was pulled in as a jurist this morning. I had to look at the forum title twice because I thought I was in another forum!

Scary when the Robotics guy comes across as the sensible one.
